Manchester United Football Club is an English professional football club, based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, that plays in the Premier League. Founded as Newton Heath LYR Football Club in 1878, the club changed its name to Manchester United in 1902 and moved to Old Trafford in 1910.

Manchester United has won many trophies in English football, including a record 19 league titles, a record 11 FA Cups, four League Cups and a record 19 FA Community Shields. The club has also won three European Cups, one UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, one UEFA Super Cup, one Intercontinental Cup and one FIFA Club World Cup. In 1998–99, the club won a Treble of the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League, an unprecedented feat for an English club.

Manchester United Back On The Top Of The EPL Table !

Manchester United defeated West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford today with 2 goals from Rooney. The first goal was due to a shot by Chicharito that Rooney continued and finished off well. The second goal was a penalty after Ashley Young was tackled.
On the other side , Manchester City lost against Swan Sea who gave United a Great advantage in the title race.
United now hold 67 points and are on top of the Barclays Premier League Table while City remain with 66 points
United still have 5 away matches including an important one with City and 5 home matches.
The title race is nearly over and this season could be one of the most important for United.

Manchester United defeated Stoke City in the 23rd match of the EPL 011/012 Season with 2 goals to nothing. Chicharito put in the first due to a penalty during the 38th minute, and so did Berbatov during the 53rd minute. The Reds are at equal points with Manchester City after their loss against Everton thanks to Darren Gibson who was able to put in a goal. 

United and City both have 54 points yet with a 6 goal difference to City. Hopefully United can maintain this position and will march victorious by the end of the season.
